SXSW a to z
In the past we’ve talked about Coachella and other upcoming festivals this year. And in the past, South By Southwest has always been one of the best ways to see some of the same great bands in a smaller setting. This year, SXSW has outdone themselves. Small bands (It Hugs Back), big bands (Devo), old bands (Echo and the Bunnymen), new bands (White Lies), they’ve got it all this year. I’m going to spend the next month leading up to the festival discussing the best of the fest. I’ll make every effort to go from a to z, but I’ll undoubtedly have to jump around a little bit. First, they’re still adding bands and second, the torrent of all the bands hasn’t been released yet. You can rest assured, that I’ll do what I’ve done for the last two years and make my way through every single band. Turn to this website for a quick pick on all the bands that fit our aesthtic. Videos? You betcha! Say a few words about each band? Maybe.
We’ll start today with the ‘A”s
