I used to know Billy pretty well when I lived in Hollywood from 1980-1990 or so. We have a lot in common: electronics, guitars, etc. I hope he's doing well and maybe I could contact him sometime. I haven't been able to find him recently, though! Check out my MySpace page at: www.myspace.com/lenahanelectronics or, just type-in Lenahan Electronics. Lots of videos on YouTube, too.

One of my all-time favorite bands-I've already got my ticket to go see them at Harlow's on the 29th of December...and it's just really icing on the cake that it's Billy playing guitar instead of Tony or Dave...all three brought great and sensible parts to the music, but the other two can never replace the rush you feel when you're 17 and hear something completely different than what you've been exposed to, and that's what Billy playing with X brings for me.

I was booted from my circle of friends when I bought Los Angeles! I loved it! My friends said I had turned punk! I told them just to listen! They would not! Now I play guitar and one of my biggest influences is Billy! I started playing the guitar again in 2006, in 2008 I got my Les Paul and started playing with 45 Grave which I have quit recently! Paul Cutler was another influence, but the songs are no fun to play if they aren't going to be played AUTHENTICLY, so I bowed out! It was worse that bad kareokee versions of the songs! The good news is that I played with Lysa Flores last weekend at the Metro Gold Line opening. Despite only playing one song, it was the most satisfying thing I have done musically. DJ Bonebrake of X was playing vibes, Fredo on drums, and Dante on bass! I have roadied with lots of LA bands for 18 years so my hope is to play wih those I have worked with, not because I am a friend, but because I can do it and run with the pack, and actually add to it! I don't expect to be a star, that isn't the point! I just want to fly with the stars instead of just flying around them. My favorie songs to play are X songs although I don't think I will ever get to play a song with X, but when I play them with other musicians, I try to keep it as authentic as I can! Thankx Billy for being you and making the music you do!
